Auriculotherapy is the classic, original ear acupuncture. It is an original, unique diagnostic and therapeutic method of European origin and not a variant of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). The entire body with all its structures, organs and functions is reflected in the fractal of the ear. Its innervation is closely linked to the central nervous system, which organizes and directs the therapeutic stimuli on the ear.

Good somatotopes - i.e. maps of the body regions and structures on the ear - are also crucial for success in veterinary auriculotherapy.
